Westphalia (Officially the Kingdom of Westphalia) was a state created by Napoleon and is located in northern Germany around the area of Hannover. Historically it served as a puppet made by Napoleon himself to secure North Germany and appointed his own brother, Jérôme Bonaparte as King of Westphalia. In the Napoleonic Wars community, Westphalia was a French-aligned nation attached to the Rhine Confederation, and has underwent numerous shifts in it's leadership throughout it's four year long history. The first Westphalian nation was led by Douglicus, which existed from Late 2020 - June 2021.
History in the Napoleonic Wars Community[]
The most controversial Westphalia was owned by Douglicus. The latest pending Westphalia was ruled by Sandcar before leaving and was rebranded into an unofficial Holland, soon ChinaAveli sold it to Coolgofboy. There were 4 previous Westphalia and a few rejected ones, recent being Spider's Westphalia who got denied upon toxicity with the Hessen staff.
Bavaria then became Westphalia in July 11th, 2023 as its leader ErichLegacy and many others left the genre.
As Westphalia progressed, more the nation, while prospering at first, slowly began to go inactive. Some regiments were shutdown, including the entire Zweite Division. By August, the 5te and 2te were then shutdown, and its remaining members transferred to 8te, leaving 8te the only regiment in Westphalia. It was confirmed that Westphalia would be shutting down and 8te would have its final battle around late August. Westphalia was then shutdown and 8te was merged with the Austrian Empire and became the Nr.3 Italienisches Leichtes, under the Erste Korps, now the Nr.30 Infanterie Regiment which has grown to be one of the best lines in the genre.

- 2te, 8te and 5te would rally the most throughout Westphalia's time.
- "The West has fallen" was a line used throughout the last moments of Westphalia before it was shut down, particularly in 8te.
- "The Westfailure Curse" is a joke that many believe is to be a curse that all Westphalias fail, but the current one is determined to prove it false.
- The Westfälisches Gardekorps rallies the most, specifically its Füsilier-Garde with the biggest rally of 50 men in a battle.
